TYTAN S range comprises a range of titanium chelates which are used as catalysts for neutral-cure RTV silicone sealants. They work by hydrolysing the methoxy groups which terminate oxime and alkoxy curing agents. They act as moisture scavengers in the cartridge to give an extended shelf life of the product.

Sealants utilising TYTAN S catalysts have a rapid cure profile and excellent adhesion to many substrates. Extensive silanol cross-linking reduces deformation by increasing the elastic modulus.
