Thor-FP is Laurel’s grade of mica with fluorinated surface treatment. It has exceptionally high chemical stability and thermal resistance, with operating temperatures of over 1000°C attainable. Its plate-like morphology and surface treatment render it extremely lubricious and an ideal material for high temperature dry film lubrication in particular. This grade also finds applications in polymer and coating formulations as well.
