BASF’s F200 activated alumina is a range of spherical desiccants for the drying of liquids and gasses and is available in a variety of bead sizes designed to suit many different applications and requirements. A uniform bead formation is also present which gives efficient drying of industrial gasses where a minimal pressure drop is important. This product also has a high crush strength which allows its use in taller towers or columns.

F200 is also resistant to amine attack and can dehydrate acid containing gasses such as carbon dioxide.

This material also offers the user good handling qualities with low abrasion meaning less atmospheric dusting when filling or replacing material in addition to minimising the risk of filter blockages when in operation.

With high adsorption capacity and relatively easy regeneration, F200 activated alumina can offer our customers an excellent balance between performance and costs.
