Münzing have a range of solutions for addressing wetting and levelling problems; marketed under the EDAPLAN® LA and METOLAT® series. Wetting problems are often expressed in terms of surface defects like craters, fish eyes, orange peel or cissing. Levelling agents tend not to influence the surface tension but rather act at the air-liquid interface to improve characteristics of gloss and slip. A range of different polymer chemistries are available, generally being divided into siloxane-based and siloxane-free, and either non-ionic or ionic. There are a number of considerations to make in choosing the correct product and the Lawrence Industries team are here to help you. Get in touch to discuss your project and find the right solution.
