Fumed Metal Oxides

Evonik’s AEROXIDE® range consists of fumed metal oxides produced via a manufacturing process analogous to that of AEROSIL® fumed silica. The range is comprised of fumed aluminium and titanium oxides, as well as combinations of fumed metal oxides and fumed silica.

Evonik’s AEROXIDE® range consists of fumed metal oxides produced via a manufacturing process analogous to that of AEROSIL® fumed silica. The range is comprised of fumed aluminium and titanium oxides, as well as combinations of fumed metal oxides and fumed silica.

Common grades include AEROXIDE® Alu C and AEROXIDE® TiO2 P 25. AEROXIDE® Alu C is a pure aluminium oxide grade which is primarily used as a free flow agent and to regulate triboelectric effects. AEROXIDE® TiO2 P 25 is a pure titanium dioxide grade and is commonly used as a heat stabiliser in silicone rubber.

    • TiO2 products have 80-90% anatase content with only a small portion of rutile
